Many of us are familiar with these famous words written by William Shakespeare centuries ago, yet today their eternal value and deeper meaning seem to be lost and they serve only as an empty phrase that we like to quote.
When questioned about the actual significance of these words of wisdom, most of us would probably reply that they are self explanatory- we should be true to who we are in all that we do. But let us delve deeper into their connection with the spiritual laws of Creation.
How little time indeed do human beings allot for spiritual reflections, even though we ourselves, our real ego, our spirit, is a part of the spiritual world, simply through the very fact that we originate in the Spiritual Realm. This is our true home, Paradise, that we left in the urge and longing to become conscious.
Even here on earth, a person who immigrates to another country does not forget his homeland. At the least, he thinks about it now and then and is often overcome with homesickness for the land of his earthly origin.
Many of us have often heard the popular expression «Smile and the whole world smiles with you». And we usually do smile when we hear this spoken. But can we actually help the rest of the world to smile, especially today with all of the chaos on our planet? The answer to this question is yes.
In our articles we have often spoken of the law of reaping and sowing and given our readers numerous examples of how this law governs our lives, our destiny, our karma, etc. In fact, it is one of the laws of Creation that most people understand best because of the inexhaustible illustrations we can give in order to explain it. Yet at the same time most human beings find it difficult to put their knowledge to use in every day life.
We often say that certain individuals are lucky when they seem to always come out on top when confronted with difficult problems. They are even lucky when things are going well because happy events continuously surround them that only increase their state of well-being. Why do these people have so much luck? Why them and not others?
There are many people that believe our destiny revolves around chance. Events therefore take place without any real cause and are totally unpredictable and inexplicable. We hear time and again that the luck of certain individuals is «due to chance». Yet how can chance, that by definition acts without rhyme or reason, always direct favourable events towards specific people?
April 22nd 2010 marked the 40th anniversary of Earth day. Earth Day was co-founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, and in the years that followed over 184 countries around the world have organized events and created awareness on how to better respect and care for our planet. Billions of people have participated throughout the past decades. Earth Day is considered the most celebrated, non-religious holiday across the world.
Of all the enduring myths transmitted over time, the age-old belief in the force of the Light and the force of darkness is the most prevalent. We often recount tales of good against evil or vice versa but often this view and the accompanying beliefs do not reflect reality.
There is in fact only one Force emanating from the Light. It is a force that uplifts, nurtures, reinforces, and sustains all of Creation, including the Universe. This force is neutral and furthers life, supports all living creatures and beings, and ensures movement that is essential for all that exists.
In the North Atlantic, near the Arctic Circle, lies the country of Iceland. Sitting on a hot spot of the earth's mantle, called the Iceland Plume, somewhere on the Mid-Atlantic Rift, where the Eurasian and North American plates meet, this land was formed through intense volcanic activity. Iceland counts about two dozen volcanoes, some of them covered by large glaciers. Hence the reference to "the land of fire and ice".
It is very seldom that we can witness the results of the large animistic forces at work behind these geologic events. Most of the time, their work is of such sheer, enormous magnitude that it is impossible to safely approach and view it. However, on March 21st, a new fissure opened in southern Iceland, at Eyjafjallajokull, a dormant volcano, that just happened to be an area with extended volcanic surveillance, including an array of tools such as web cams, seismographs and GPS sensors, making it a very well documented eruption. It was a unique opportunity to see the work carried out by these incredible nature beings.
One of the reasons is certainly due to the fact that the diversity and violence of natural phenomena in Iceland forces its inhabitants to be constantly vigilant. People who are compelled to remain alert and watchful of nature for their survival are more likely to perceive these beings and to consequently believe in their existence. Through their continued preoccupation with the effects of nature, they become closer to it.
GNOMES, ELVES, NIXIES, and those who guide them: the gods of antiquity, are these beings from our childhood fairy tales and legends merely a product of our imagination, or do they actually exist?
Throughout history, from the times of antiquity right up to the present day, people of every civilisation and parts of the earth have spoken of these beings. How can this uniformity be explained? The Bible confirms their existence, as do the numerous reports of clairvoyants.
It is the aim of this book to answer the numerous questions that people ask themselves about these beings. Who are they? What is their role in Creation? Why can’t everybody see them? To what extent is nature dependent upon them? What part do they play in natural catastrophes and the warnings given to humans and animals before these disasters take place? Can the knowledge of the existence of these beings still be of use to us today?
Part III and conclusion to a series of three articles on the events leading up to the last days of Jesus on earth.
If it was really God’s Will for His Son to come to earth in order to suffer and to die, then naturally human beings were needed to carry out this plan in an earthly way. Therefore all who hated, slandered, betrayed, sentenced and killed Jesus would simply have been indispensable executioners of the Will of God. Hence there could be no question of any personal guilt on the part of these men. On the contrary, mankind would owe their gratitude to these individuals because they would have indeed helped to make redemption and purification from all sin possible.
